I bid on an item and it gives the seller and any other interested bidder my account ID. I see most other bidders have a shortened bid ID that keeps their account ID private. How do you set that up?

I am currently watching the progress of bidding on an item which has only three hours to go. I have already bid on the item several days ago. Concerning the one click bidding, when and how do I take advantage of this during the final hour? I recall reading that if there is a tie for the highest bidder, then the earlier posting gets the prize. So, I'm assuming that during the first few minutes of the final hour I need to raise my bid.........after that how does the one click bid work? Thank you!!!!!!!!

I will bid a maximum bid, it will declare me the winner at the end; and then shortly thereafter....i will have lost it by about 50 cents to $2.50. I thought once the time was up, that it was a done deal. What is this all about?

A seller has several items listed and I would like to offer one price and keep this all private. I look for specialty items for clients and don't want them to know where or how much I paid. I dont want to violate any ebay policies.

I was checking on the item I had bid on and it still had about 1 1/2 day to go and lo ! it is not there anymore ! What happened do you think ? Our seller notified us that he cannot sell the project car we bought because of an old lien (1984 Trans AM). He said his lawyer told him to refund our money - that he can't sell it. When we first talked to him he was hesitant - offered to part it out and put us off for picking it up. The day before we were to pick it up he calls and leaves a message that there is a problem, that his lawyer advised him to cancel and send a refund. We are not happy and want to know if we have any course of action. It was item # 120490631788 - We get the impression that he got a better offer . Thanks for your help.

I have just gotten my web site and eBay store. I know nothing. I need all the help I can get. Could I get someone to nuture a "newbee" for just a bit? The warehouse that drop ships my items does not have as many items that I would like to sell. Has any one heard of Inventory Source? Do you use more than one drop shipper and how would you weed out the bad guys? I'll be waiting for a response. Thanks,,
