i have made an agreement on price for an item. they buyer agreed and lowered the purchase price. they do not know how to end the ad so i can buy it. can you tell me what they need to do in order for the purchase to be completed

the seller will have to revise the listing and lower the price. then you will have to use the buy it now or bid and they would then end the listing early.

 

but how did you come to some agreement? did you email? that is not allowed and can be considered a violation of your user agreement if you carry out this transaction outside of the listing.

 

if a listing does not have the Best Offer option, you should not be making offers thru email.

you have already violated ebay policy by making an offer like this.

not a very good way to start your your ebay membership.
