What does a seller do when a buyer purchases an item, then states they are returning it because they found it cheaper

Buyer purchased through BIN and paid immediately.  Next day, after item is shipped, buyer emails seller and states she is returning it because she found it cheaper.  States she will refuse shipment.  I told her that her bid was her contract and since I did not misrepresent description I could not accept return because she "found it cheaper."   I offered free shipping on BIN, which still cost me nearly $15.00 to ship item.  What should I do?

Sounds like you may need to get Ebay involved .Do you have specifications in your return policy? If you dont ,you may get the shaft on this one.I know its not a valid reason for a return but if you dont specify something such as "returns not given unless item is misrepresented" she may win out with Ebay.I hope this helps .

I would refund her LESS shipping cost once you receive the item back

Unfortunately, your return policy states returns are accepted within 14 days, and tht means for any reason.   However, you are not obligated to refund the original shipping price.  when the item comes back, refund her right away, before she files a claim against you.

Reread your listing: "Returns: Accepted within 14 days"

It doesn't matter the reason.

Nothing for eBay to get involved in here. When you get the item back, refund her payment for the item price (which apparently is her whole payment).
