I have noticed a Nikon d3x and other items at unreal Buy It Now Prices. The listing says CALL ME FIRST. I have a problem dealing outside the eBay rules. Are these auctions LEGIT? If so, why is it necessary to call them rather than just buy? An old say I believe is "If its too good to Bre true then it's too good to be true."

Well, you could call their bluff.   They cannot enforce the "call me first", so you could buy one, pay for it, and wait for it to arrive.   If it doesn't arrive you can always get a full refund of your money and you are free to leave feedback and stars of your choice.

Every item listed on ebay has a "REPORT ITEM" tab embedded in it. If you think something is awry, that is what that tab is for, so it can be brought to the attention of an eBay employee who can take appropriate action.

Wish my fingers would pay closer attention to what I spell correctly.
