On two of my listings I had a bidding section and "Buy it now" section. After a customer made a bid, my "Buy it now" section was gone??

I have 2 active listings that had both a bidding section and a "Buy it now" section.  After the first bid came across my "Buy it now" section was gone.  I have tried to revise the listing, but it wont let me.  Please help!

Read the help files on buy it nows (upper right, customer support, search on 'buy it now').

Once a bid is received, a BIN disappears in most categories. This is by design.

A BIN is not a reserve ; make sure you start bidding at the minimum amount you'll accept for an item.

------------------------------------ This is an automatic signature...attached to all my posts - maybe its directly relevant, maybe not... Upper right corner on this page, click 'customer support'. Type your question into the input box, and click the 'search' button. This will answer 99% of all questions posted on this board. And "payed" is not the past tense of the verb 'to pay'.

It's working exactly as it was designed to work.

The Buy it Now is for a buyer to pick up an item at a set price immediately, before the bidding starts.

As has been stated, in most categories, when the listing is an auction, the Buy It Now (BIN) price disappears once the item receives a bid. You can read additional details about how the auction format with BIN option works on this help page: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fixed-price.html

Cannot stress enough to begin the bidding at the least amount you are willing to accept.

BINs go away in the majority of categories once a bid is made.

The BIN is useful for someone who would rather buy than wait till auction end.

Read up on selling so you don't make mistakes in the future.
