I listed an item for auction and 1 day later I recieved an offer. I did not mean to hit the make offer button and did not know I had. I have never did a "best offer" before. Can I retract the make an offer part on my listing?

It's not possible to have a Best Offer on an auction listing, it is only available on Fixed Price listings.

If someone made an offer through the ebay messaging system, they violated ebay policy. You can report the message. Ignore their offer or tell them that they can place a bid.

Your listing is NOT an auction.

it is a fixed price, "buy it now or best offer".

If you don't want to accept the offers you are getting, just reject them or ignore them, and they will go away in 48 hours.

If you intended it to be an auction, end it and relist the item.

You DO have the Best Offer option showing on this item:

281047037714

Shows one offer declined, then one offer (by same member) pending.

That's not an auction, it's a fixed price listing.

You are not required to accept offers.

You can decline, you can counter offer, you can accept or you can ignore.
