The reserve price on an auction item has been met but the listing still has 4 days to run. Can I continue to list the item to see if a higher bid comes in?

Well yeah...a reserve being met doesn't mean the auction ends!  It just means that the bidding has reached a threshold placed by you.  Of course you watch it for the next 4 days and see how high it goes.

Of course you let the listing run its course.

A "Reserve" is simply the minimum amount that is acceptable and the fact that is has been met does not mean you need to end the listing and sell to the highest bidder.

What made you think this?

Next time just start the listing at the acceptable minimum - save yourself the extra listing fee.

The Papillon figurines?

There was no reserve placed on this listing.

What exactly are you talking about?

BTW:

You should be using all the available characters in your titles. The words you use in the title are searchable. "Papillon Figurines" isn't much to go on.

TIP: Peruse other successful listings to see how they are described and titled. Great way to get ideas on how to write great titles and great descriptions. For example, a title such as the one I just created from reading your listing would garner many more searches.

Well, you get the idea.

Ah - I just had a thought...did you have a "Buy it Now" price set on the figurine listing??  Or were you under the impression that the opening bid was a reserve??

A BIN is not a reserve...and neither is the opening bid price.

A BIN option will disappear with the first bid in most categories.  The opening bid is just the amount that you start the bidding at - and good for you for starting the bidding at the amount you want to receive for the item!!  So many people start auctions at 99 cents, and then wonder why they didn't get enough money for the sale.

A reserve costs you $2.00 to add to a listing, and as rosie said above, there is no reserve placed on this item.

Good luck on the auction...you've still got 4 days, and I hope you get lots of bidders - enjoy!  :)
