Can I sell a "fake" rolex watch if I list it as a replica?

When I went to complete my listing it says that fake items are not allowed to be sold on Ebay.

I am listing it very clearly as a replica or "fake" and that is was not manufactured by Rolex.

Is this an acceptable listing?

If the fake watch says ROLEX on it, it is counterfeit and illegal to sell.

So no, you can not list it, even if you clearly say it is fake.

 

Illegal is illegal.....admitting it doesn't make it less of a crime.

Sorry, no.  Fakes are not allowed at all, & are illegal in the US too.  Saying it's a relica will just have it removed sooner.  If you list it & it's removed & you list it again, you can be suspended or kicked off Ebay.  There are bots that Ebay has that get triggered with certain words in people's listings.  Then there's the report button on the listing itself for those who may come across it.

no, don't do it, you might find that you will have it pulled or someone will mistake it for the real thing.

Not only can you not list it, It is illegal for you to even own it, Counterfeits are illegal no matter what you call it.

if i invented, manufactured and owned the rights to my designs i'd certainly be upset if someone was trying to steal my livelyhood out from under me. a disclaimer or special wording doesn't stop it from being obviously wrong
