Used to list this book as Fixed price, trying to relist as such. eBay appears to be blocking this. Why?

Or on the relist page scroll down to edit listing.

What happens when you click the fixed price tab on the selling form?

Isn't their listing special still going on where you can list books auction style for .05 cents? I thought it was extended through March......could be completely mistaken though....so check it out.....

 

Maybe that is why it is trying to tell you to go with an auction so it will save you some insertion fees.

I click the Buy Now choice, set the price, and try to go to the next step. Then I get the red ink STOP message that I've done something wrong, and more red ink asking to set a proper Buy Now price. I am not allowed to proceed until I correct the "error"--

Required field List as an auction Listing at auction means your item will sell to the highest bidder. Start your auction at a low price to attract buyers. | List as fixed price Listing at a fixed price means you are setting the price for your item. We recommend you list this as an auction. Buyers are almost twice as likely to purchase your item when you list it as an auction. Enter a priceEnter a valid Buy It Now price. $ How other sellers priced it
