How to lower a top bid
Dec 17, 2012 06:14 PM

I entered a top bid of $700 by mistake instead of $7.00. Now I cannot lower it. There are many hours left on this item and I tried to change it almost immediately.

What can I do? I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for Tupperware.

You had one hour to retract and rebid if there are less than 12 hours left in the auction.

If there are MORE than 12 hours left, you CAN retract and rebid immediately. If you do NOT rebid, you will be in violation of ebay's bidding policy.

There will be an answer, Let It Be.

If you can't get it changed, see if you can ask the seller a question. Explain the situation to him and he can cancel your bid.
