The "Buy it now" option will be long-gone before the bidding gets to that amount. In most categories, the BIN option disappears when the first bid is placed; in 4 categories, it remains available until the bidding reaches 50% of the BIN amount.  

 

Either way, the bidding can easily surpass the original BIN amount if you get 2 or more bidders who are interested in it.

In most cases the Buy It Now option goes away with the first bid, so it is not unheard of for the final auction price to be higher than the BIN price.

 

If this is happening repeatedly to you, it means you are underpricing the BIN price.

Of course it is!  The BIN price is just what you, the seller set as what you would like to get for the item.

 

You set a BIN (which disappears with the first bid in most categories), and the buyers keep bidding....Celebrate because you're getting more than you thought you might!  ;)

Of course it's normal. A Buy It Now isn't a price cap.

You do realize it is an ebay policy violation and FEDERAL CRIME to sell counterfeit items, right?

 

Calling it a counterfeit doesn't lessen the violation.
