An Unpaid Item Dispute would have no impact on a credit/debit card you were attempting to use. The easiest way to find out the problem would be to call the card issuer. The phone number should be listed on the back of the card.
On a side note, I agree with mrsmtn. If the Unpaid Item case you mentioned was for the shoes, you haven't let enough time go by to successfully close the case. The soonest you can open one is 4 days after the listing close. Once the case is opened eBay will contact the buyer and give them an additional 4 days to pay. If they do not within those 4 days, then you may close the case and you will be free to relist.
If you relist sooner than that and your original buyer suddenly decides to pay, you could wind up with 2 buyers and at least one of them is going to be upset. Not good for your feedback and DSR ratings.
