I found a deal on here that is pretty much a steal, but it seems too good to be true. Should I still purchase it or is it possibly a scam?

You have 45 days of "Buyer Protection" so you're not going to lose the money. But, with new members who sell generally the issues are they listed wrong and expect more money for their item, didn't know the actual shipping charges and will not ship unless you pay more (E-bay violation) or simply don't know one end from the other. Then again some new sellers have read up and are well informed and are now launching a selling career on E-bay. Your call but you can not be scammed out of your money with "Buyer Protection."

Every listing page says you have eBay Buyer Protection, so unless you mess that up, there is no such thing as "scam" on eBay.

Yes you do have eBay Buyer Protection..

Would you share the item number with us ?

However, look closely at the listing.

Where is the seller located?

Are they in a foreign country offering free shipping ?

Should the item have problems, you will need to return delivery confirmation

And yes there have been "dubious" listings by  members with 0 FB offering items at prices too good to be true. Their purpose was to harvest information, rather than to sell.

eBay has closed those down when reported..

Thank you all for the information. And the seller is from another country And says I have to pay for my own return shipping if I'm not satisfied.  And what kind of information can they collect?

Yes, buyers needs to pay for the returning shipping and need to send items with delivery confirmation if they are being returned.

All sellers have access to the buyer's  name, address, phone number  and email address.
