Purchased items still not received...what can I do?

I purchased 2 china place settings Nov 17th from exholidayaddic and promptly paid. On Nov 22 he emailed to say they would be mailed on Mon Nov 26th as his father was ill. On Dec 1 he emailed again to say his father relapsed and would mail them out in 3-4 days or I could get a refund. I said I'd wait a little longer to allow him to take care of his father.  I have never heard back nor received my 2 place settings. I have sent 3 emails to him and received no reply. What can I do as I am out $170. It has been 3 months.

If more than 45 days have passed since you paid for the item, then there is nothing that eBay can do for you.

 

If you funded the purchase with a credit card, contact your credit card company for a chargeback. Perhaps it is not too late for that.

silverstrad is correct - there is nothing eBay can do.

Darn shame you didn't ask sometime during the six and a half weeks after you bought the item, or didn't read all the info about ebay buyer protection plastered all over the site.

 

If you paid through paypal with a credit card you might contact the credit card company, different companies have widely different policies, some allow chargeback for as much as a year, check to see what your cc will do.


Wish my fingers would pay closer attention to what I spell correctly.
