Is shipping to Norway safe?
Nov 13, 2012 03:22 PM

I sell sports cards and have someone who wants to purchase one of my cards. I would ship in a 5x7" padded envelope. Just don't want any problems.

Thanks in advance,

Kipper

AFAIK, Norway is not a hotbed of scam artists.

For a few years I was captain of the Bow Elm which is owned by Odjell-Wesfall-Larsen out of Oslo.

Never had a problem with the mail system, yet I could not stomach the Lutefisk (dried cod treated with lye).

Good luck and remember delivery confirmation

Norway is as safe to ship to as most of the rest of Europe. Delivery confirmation would be a complete and utter financial insanity on a low value card, as it's only function is protection from theft which is an unlikely occurrence on such an item.

Lasty, that USPS restriction list is an even bigger nonsense than much of what can be found on these boards, the Italian examples being positively comical, as well as just plain wrong. That list is by replaced by simple common sense.

Most of my purchases are from the US - never had one not arrive.

Use first class international. Should take 5-7 days.
