does anyone know how long it takes to get tracking info on a item you bought

You may not actually get tracking information.  Some sellers simply ship the item without notifying eBay or buyer of the tracking number.

Just be sure you don't wait longer than 45 days from payment before filing a dispute if you don't receive item.  [You would contact seller before filing ... maybe after 21 days have passed.]
