Hi.   Notifications are sent on a time avalible or perhaps server bandwidth avalible thing.

When the ebay servers get overloaded the first thing they drop is notifications to hopefully make the rest of the site operate better.

The reason they often drop notifications during overload periods is that anything in these notifications can usually be checked by either going to your my ebay item sold page & selecting the appropriate view of the item.  Such as awaiting payment or awaiting shipping.  You can also select items sold but it will narrow it down to most recent if you use the other 2 choices.

The month of December is a total server overload period for the ebay servers.   It likely will not get better until after the first of the year.

Good luck, Jim
