my item won't arrive until after the period when I can dispute a case
Nov 22, 2012 09:06 AM

Hi there I bought an item from ebay, I would like to know if I could still dispute it just in case I don't get since the seller told me in an email that the item will take up to 25 days or more. So after that period and if I still haven't got the item, can I still dispute it? because the delivery time is awefully long. I am not familliar with such time range on ebay.

Please help me with that case, I just wanted to be on the safe side.

Thank you

Eli

No, do not wait. You have to file before the deadline.  Sellers have to get the item to you before it passes.

Your deadline for filing a dispute is 45 days. If your item has not arrived by day 43 (to be safe),. file an Item Not Received dispute.

Don’t wait too long.

Open an item not received dispute within  40 days and escalate it to a claim as soon as the system will allow.

Do not cancel the dispute for any reason other than receiving your item or a refund.

After a dispute is canceled you can not open a new one.

Because you are in Canada I am posting a link to the Canadian site policy and process.
