Bought an item but now it si not working and the seller is asking for a proof of purchase before I return.

How long ago was this purchase?

 

Item number on listing should do the trick. USE DELIVERY CONFIRMATION when you ship the package back.

Sounds like the seller may be buying time. Don't let the 45 days of Ebay Buyer Protection pass without filing a dispute.
