My buyer had a Miami Florida Address Yesterday morning when my sale had happened. Well since then he now has added numerous numbers and different letters to his name. Not only has this changed but also his city has changed as well. I clicked on what it says to, to change address click here. Well after doing so i get a message stating if I change the address I have a chance of not allowing my seller protection. Please let me know what I can do about this. I have the Item ready to ship yet I can't make the label because this buyers Name, address, street, city and zip combined are all over 40 Characters. Let me know if any of you have any information. Thanks a lot everybody!!

You are supposed to ship the item to the address that the buyer specified when they paid - the address that they approved on the eBay Checkout page. This may not be the same as the default shipping address that showed on ebay before they paid. Buyers are allowed to change the shipping address when they pay, as long as it is still in a region/country that the seller ships to.

You (the seller) should not change anything in the shipping address. The buyer is responsible for that when they Checkout and make payment. The address from the Checkout page is automatically copied into the eBay Order Details page and the PayPal Transaction Details page.

This same address is also copied automatically onto the shipping label when you purchase postage through eBay or PayPal. So you (the seller) don't need to and should not change the shipping address. Just print the label. If you change it, then you would void your Seller Protection.

It is hard to print a label like Lace suggested when the system won't let you because of improper addressing isn't it?

You can adjust the address, however it must still be addressed in such a way as to arrive at the address that was showing before the changes.

Many times people from other areas of the world think they have to use all the spaces and all the lines available when they fill in an address online.

If you are unsure bring it here, without the name, and the house number as XXX and we'll show you. Not me, I'm out the door to the slaughter house in mere minutes, but someone will.

You can also try USPS.com and select find a zip to get correct addressing anytime.

You are most certainly welcome !
