MOST RECENT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM EBAY CONCERNING POSSIBLE DELAYS AND PROTECTION FOR SELLERS FROM THESE AREAS "Due to the blizzards in the northeastern part of the US, communication, power, and transportation lines have been disrupted, particularly in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island."

WHY WAS MAINE LEFT OUT OF THIS LIST???? WE HAD RECORD BREAKING SNOWFALL & WEATHER HERE TOO AND ALL POST OFFICES CLOSED SAT ACROSS STATEWIDE DUE TO THIS STORM THAT WOULD ALSO CAUSE DELAYS PLUS WE STILL HAVE TO GO THRU ALL THESE STATES MENTIONED TO GET OUR MAIL THRU TO THE REST OF THE STATES WHICH MAY RESULT IN LONGER DELAYS YET WE ARE NOT EVEN ON THE LIST FOR POSSIBLE DELAYS RELATED TO THE BLIZZARD????

Someone from eBay might actually see this if you send it to "Tell Us What You Think" tab at the bottom of every ebay page. We are not ebay, read the first sentence at the top of the answer center page.


Wish my fingers would pay closer attention to what I spell correctly.

Sorry about caps, I was trying to distinguish between my words and ebays quote was all. If I sound annoyed yes I will be honest I am since its about seller protection which ebay has already failed at this for us recently when a buyer called them telling them they accidently left 1 star on our ratings rather than 5 by accident on an iphone and it put us at the level to lose top seller status for the first time and all ebay can say is sorry we can't fix it because they left you positive- just do good for a few mnonths or sell more and it will come back. So as a seller from Maine I am hoping we are protected since we already have seen seller protection not work for us this past month when due to something beyond our control (buyer error her and her iphone) now a blizzard but not seeing us on the list. And I did look at but saw no place on announcement to respond about Why Maine was not on the list.

Call them-they forgot NH too.

I did call them on Saturday and asked them to post a notice and gave them the names of the states affected-it's unfortunate they took 4 days to post this but at least they finally did.

 

And I don't know about the other but you can reach Griff by writing him from your personal email at griff@ebay.com  -  good luck.

Yes I see they forgot NH and Maine- and we have to get our mail thru those states (not Canada lol) listed in addition to our own affected area. I would think we should both be at the top of the list up here.

Please...eBay chose to list a few example states. They reference the entire Northeast in the message. Your state is in the Northeast! Just because your state wasn't an example state does not mean it isn't included and there isn't any reason to take it as a personal affront.
