Ebay errors. How does one get Ebay to answer about an error they made in reporting an item was shipped when the seller says it was not. HELP

Ebay advised that the item 160741969742 was shipped on 11-6 but the seller later advised that it was not shipped until 11-14. I want to find out why I was advised of the incorrect shipping information.

eBay did not inform you that the item was shipped  on their own.

They sent  that information because the seller marked the item as shipped, or printed  shipping labels for the item.

 

This matter is between you and the seller.

eBay is not involved.

What you were told was a result of what the seller told eBay. He either marked the item as shipped or printed a label on the 6th. EBay does not just send random messages.
