That depends on what the listing says.  Can you give us the item number?

Generally if you say free US sipping and no Canada price for shipping you would find out the costs to ship it making sure you get a proof of delivery and then invoice the buyer.

You'll have to invoice the buyer and add international shipping.   Decide if you want to add delivery confirmation and insurance - you'll have to figure what you're willing to pay out of pocket should the item not arrive and they open up a claim.  And set your buyer requirements - stating where you ship in the listing is not enough

go to your my ebay page

hover over account tab

click on site preferences

Buyer requirements

show and edit on the right

Have a primary shipping address in a location I don't ship to

You can do any other buyer requirements at the same time.

Also, some people in Canada who live near the border or have US family and friends will have it shipped to a US address (for free) and then have that person  ship it to them.

There is no delvery confirmation to Canada.  You will also need a customs form which is not tracking.

The default setting on eBay is Worldwide.
If you don't want to sell worldwide, you have to set your blocks accordingly.

Stating that you don't ship outside the US means nothing. Lots of bidders don't read English well, if at all, and bid from the pictures.

To set your blocks go to My eBay> Account> Site Preferences> Selling Preferences> Buyer Requirements> Show. Edit. Set all the blocks you want there, and you will no longer be required to sell on the international market.

Means NOTHING.

Unless you SET YOUR BLOCKS - anyone in the WORLD can bid on your items.

To keep your seller protection - you MUST ship with online viewable proof of delivery to Canada.  That means you MUST ship via Global Priority or Express Mail International.  That is EXPENSIVE.

Get that price at USPS.com and invoice the buyer with that expensive shipping.  They may not want the item any more.

You need to make sure this doesn't happen again by SETTING YOUR BLOCKS.

Go to My eBay > ACCOUNT tab > SITE PREFERENCES > Buyer requirements
Block buyers who:  (and choose any/all of these)

* Don't have a PayPal account   (99% of the scammers don't)
* Have received 2 Unpaid Item strike(s) within 12 Month(s)
(automatically blocks proven deadbeats)
* Have a primary shipping address in a location I don't ship to
(blocks foreign countries from bidding)
* Have 4 Policy Violation report(s) within 6 Month(s)
* Have a feedback score of -1 or lower (that's minus 1)
