I went to purchase a new sofa off of a specific listing and at the top of the page eBay had the orange circle that said FREE SHIPPING to lower 48 states, as well as the listing itself advertising free shipping inside the US. Before you can continue with purchase, there is an option at the top of the listing that you have to click to designate which time zone to ship to. When I clicked my option (Central Time zone) the price of the sofa jumped up another $300+... That seems like a scam to me. Obviously the shipping is NOT free. Yet eBay has to authorize this type of listing because they have the drop down menu. Either way, this is very misleading and I would like a response and explanation from eBay as to how and why they allow this kind of false/misleading listing. Thanks for any help. ![]()
