Why do you want buyer to return a damaged item?

Have you asked your buyer to send you pictures of the damged item? That would be a big help, to start with...Buyers have become relentless with what they've been trying to pull, against decent sellers...

If they do show an item is damaged and has become unsellable, most likely, the best resolution would be to refund them all they paid..

If you had insurance and can provide the broken/ damaged item to the P.O., as in the buyer could bring to P.O. and show, you'd refund buyer and handle the claim yourself.

Buyer didn't buy a damaged item so it would be your responsibility as the seller, to make the buyer whole..

Happy New Year! (Lets all hope ebay fixes these bad issues).
