Sold an item, tracked it USPS shows delivered. Customer says they didn't get it. Customer didn't let me know of the issue. Left me negative feedback.

You can either satisfy your buyer one way or another and ask them to revise the feedback, or you can leave a professional, factual follow-up comment.

Your reply looks calm and professional.  

 

Show some sympathy and concern towards your buyer.   You are SO sorry her package was lost after it was delivered.   You could point out to her that her package shows delivered, and you have done your part.   She should check with her mail carrier, neighbors, or other people who might have been in her house and received the package.

 

This might soften her up and she might actually locate her package.   And be willing to revise the feedback.

Forgot to mention. Customer initially contacted me about no package. Did all the sympathy you could imagine, provided tracking number. His address is a post office box and the delivery confirmation said it made it to his post office.

 

Asked him to contact post office and let me know if the package was there. He never contacted me again. I would imagine post office person put package in the wrong box.

 

So he's probably right - never received the package. The PO Box next to him did. But I'm the bad guy.
