You refunded his money without getting the items back??  Never do that.

Did you refund before getting the item back? Never do that!

 

Your description of the item was lacking. You said you weren't sure if the toaster worked. You need to make sure you describe your item very well. Check your items to make sure they actually function.

 

Maybe the buyer is returning the items and you haven't received them yet, but I doubt it if you refunded first.
