I can't find the item I sold at auction, so I notified buyer and refunded payment.  What else do I have to do to remove the item from my ebay "sold" list?

I can't find the item I sold at auction, so I notified buyer and refunded payment.  What else do I have to do to remove the item from my ebay "sold" list?

You can ask the buyer to agree to cancel the transaction.

You send the buyer a "Cancellation Request"

BUT let the buyer know that you are sending this request, that it in no way will reflect on them negatively. 

 

If the buyer REFUSES/DENIES the request, then you will NOT get your fees back.  They MUST agree to it for you to get them back.

 

Also:  They will still be able to leave feedback.
