I  WAS LEFT BAD FEEDBACK FROM A BUYER.  I DID NOT DETEST HIS ACCUSATIONS BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT ANY BAD FEEDBACK.  THE DAMAGE DONE WAS ON THE INSIDE OF THE BOX AND THE LEG ON ONE SIDE WAS MISSING, WHICH HE NEVER RETURNED PLUS HE SENT THE MARANTZ BACK IN THE SAME BOX.  HOW I KNOW HE OR SOMEONE ELSE DROPPED THE ITEM AND NOT THE POST OFFICE, PLUS HOW WOULD IT HAVE SCRATCHES ON THE BOTTOM WHICH HAD POPCORN IN THE ENTIRE BOX? PLUS HE IS GIVING HIS OWN OPINION TELLING OTHERS NOT TO ORDER FROM ME.  I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK UNTIL NOW.  WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS.

A lot of feedback is dependent on how you handle a disatisfied person.  Did you offer a refund? On audio equipment, items shoudl be double boxed as peanuts settle and when they settle the item may shift within the box.  Did you insure the package?  If you had, there should have been no loss to you....Most buyers just want they item to arrive and be as described.  If this person has a history of leaving bad feedback, you can check by clicking on his feedback score and seeing what he has left for others, you may have an issue you can take up with ebay.  If he has no history,  take it as a lesson learned and double box electronics in the future. You can always block him form bidding on your items in the future.  Eventually, the comment will go way down in the stack and after 12 months, disappear...

ps...in the meantime, you can respond to the feedback he left, by just stating..."damage during shipping, customer given a full refund" if that is a true statemnt....go to your feedback page and click on reply to feedback left.

It could easily have scrathces on the bottom because just popcorn in the entire box is not proper packing. Don't be blaming the buyer here. Did you double-box with lots of bubblewrap? No? Then you packed poorly.

Worst packaging, communication and care from seller. Strongly not recommened
