I received a product that did not work right when I got it. The seller said it worked fine before he shipped it. He said it was insured and that I needed to contact the post office to collect. Is this correct? Shouldn't the seller be the one who has to file? I thought that I would ship the item back to the seller and that he would reimburse me the money and that he would file the claim then. Am I incorrect in this? more…

I had a problem with a purchase. I contacted seller, but could not agree on a solution, and seller ask me to file a claim.   I opened a case, and continued to negotiate. Now, seller agreed on partial refund. Seller told me to close the case, and he will issue refund.   I attempted to "Close" the case, and I found on that page I should not close the case until I receive refund. Buyer paid invoice but now wants insurance, how do I bill for this additional fee?

I bought a set of china wares and it came mostly with broken pieces. Contacted the seller, didn't answer all direct questions and accused me of scamming. So I opened a resolution case right away. Does ebay require insurance on all sold items?

I placed an order in December, and when I recieved a strange unless item in place of my lights I tried handling the issue myself first. The seller told me he would resend the item, and I waited. It's now way past 45 day (which will always happen since it takes 2 months to correct an issue if shipping is 30 days) and the seller has ignored all of my emails since Februray. What is this second chance?  I was directed to barclay bank without ever bidding again.  Told to have a bank transfer? 

I purchased shoes and the post office scan it as delivered and I never recieved the package. When I contact the seller to check if they had insured the package I was informed that they didn't insure it. My problem is that now I don't have my shoes or my money and just because the seller didn't insure the package the post office is not responsible for the lost package. I sell items that have very small parts. Does anyone here have an outside insurance policy?
