My father unexpectedly died in January 2012. Before his death, he and my mother had been operating an eBay selling business and had established themselves as good sellers with a couple thousand feedback. She stopped using it after he died, so there's been no account activity since. Even though they were operating it together, both the eBay and PayPal accounts were registered in only my dad's name and email address. I have filed a claim because an item I bid on and won has been removed by Ebay. I had paid with Paypal. Thinking this is a fraudulent auction, I filed a claim thru the resolution center with the help of Ebay support. Now I have been contacted by the seller assuring me that I will receive the article very quickly if I will close the case.
My question is this...If I close the case and then either do not recieve the item or the item is not as described can I open a new case?

I won an item at auction and want to pay but it wants me to change my address or contact the seller. I e-mailed the seller three times but had no reply. I still want the item. I tried the contact ue number for ebay but it will not recognise this number. Maybe I need a dialing code from the uk? Can anyone help me please.

Hello, a bidder won an item from one of my auctions on 4/22/13 and never paid. The bidder also ignores my invoices & emails. I therefore opened a case on 4/29/13. The case is still open. How long will the case stay open? It seems like there should have been some resolve by now. I don't even care that the bidder won't complete the transaction, I just don't want to be charged the final value fee.

I had a canceled transaction and refunded someones money. But the amount is different than what I refunded. Plus, I'm wondering why there's an Ebay balance. I thought all money was transacted through Paypal?

As a seller, can I limit the amount of time on a counter-offer? For example if Customer submits an offer, then Seller makes a counter-offer, is there a way to shorten the amount of time to hold to the counter-offer? Are there settings for the length of time a counter-offer is open?

I have posted a number of items at a fixed price. Now I see there are people watching the listing. I just don't see the point of watching a fixed price item. The price isn't going to change. They are listed until cancelled. There might be a reason I don't know about. Any one know why?

Purchased bed massager unit for gifting, approx. 3 months ago and now informed that item almost set bed on fire, unit melted! Item was listed as new, when checking with mfr. I think this is horrible..Ebay want's you to start auctions at .99 cents.If there is little interest i'm not gonna lose money like that i'd pull the item..Guess i'll never start .99 auctions again.
