I just invested a significant amount of money on inventory of an item.  The item itself weighs over 13 oz (even before adding the weight of the box and packaging materials)  so I have to send it Priority.    Another seller--in my state--just listed the same item and is shipping it as a First Class Package.  How can that be legal?  Competitor sold three of them in two days.  I sold none.  Priority is more expensive to begin with and costs almost $10 to send to West Coast (I'm on East Coast)... more…

I sold an item, printed the label,and shipped the item.After all this, I checked my messages and the buyer had sent me a message asking me to ship to another address.I informed the buyer that the item was on its way already. Today I checked with the tracking number that the item was ( undeliverable as addressed ) term used by the USPS. Do I have to pay to ship the item back to the buyer when it gets back to me or buyer has to pay? I ordered a $40 item with $20 shipping, USPS first class.  It will go from US to Canada. My question is should I expect any fees when it comes to my door?

Why should a buyer have to pay for return postage on a item that wasn't the item you paid for?? What's this bull that someone wrote and said would you rather pay the postage or get neg. feedback.  If your not at fault, the seller should not have the right to give neg. feedback, when they were in the wrong not the buyer. On a $36 item I sold, eBay invoiced the Buyer for $14.22 shipping. The actual cost was $18.45. My loss is $4.23. Add eBay's new skimming policy of 10% of SHIPPING costs for an additional charge to ME of $1.85. My loss is now $6.08, or SIXTEEN PERCENT OF MY SALES PRICE ! And that's BEFORE their SALES COMMISSION of $3.60. My total costs now are $9.68, or TWENTY-SEVEN PERCENT !!! So is this just another NEW way eBay has figured out how to SCREW the Sellers ?? how can i change the shipping method for something i sold  

I sold a harness, guessed it would cost 40.00 to ship, including packaging, and it cost $50.00.  Close enough I figured, but I"m sure there is a better way.  ???

      I have purchased an item that is located a few miles away from me. The shipping part of the info says 'not shipped'. Does this mean my item hasn't even been sent off yet or is it because my item doesn't actually have to be shipped due to it being local? i want to ship ups from ebay, i dont see the option, how do i do this and get a tracking number.

I'd like to know if anyone uses FedEx a lot for shipping? I know ebay does not offer it as an option for shipping, but UPS has been awful and the USPS is quite expensive when sending large, heavy packages. If you do use FedEx, I am assuming there is a fee to schedule a pick up ??  What rights do you lose through ebay when using FedEx. I really want to know if FedEx is a good choice from sellers who use them regularly. Any advice would be appreciated. more…

I bought an item and it was a counterfeit. I confirmed with the real company(Mophie) and they confirmed it was not authentic. Seller wants me to pay return shipping. I feel that i should not be responsible for return shipping when the item was misrepresented and not authentic. so my question is.... How can I increase the postage charge? The books weigh 16 pounds and Media Mail is $10.00 with Delivery Confirmation YET  EBAY won't let me charge more than $4.00. And yes, I used "Create Your Own Shopping Option."
